Aloha, just putting this out there again re: Mauna Kea safety-
I'm seeing posts about going up the Mauna with AWD (not 4x4 with 4-low) . People talking about "they let me go up with an AWD car". - This is dangerous. You need the 4-low transfer case to SLOW you down coming down the Mauna so you don't ride brakes.
